Nursery & Kids Blackout Blinds

Oh my goodness I am so excited about this blind. I have grandkids that sleep in this room and they are used to Total Blackout and I had a door that I didn't want some nasty blind that flapped all over the place. I searched and searched Forever Until I found this blind and I am so excited I took the chance because it is exactly what I wanted. I was using black plastic bags for blackout blinds so can you imagine how excited I am just walk in my room and see how beautiful it is now that I can keep the window open. My only recommendation would be to even put a QR code on a box somewhere to have the video right there because honestly I couldn't even remember the name of the company I had to go back to my debit card to see where I bought these from. But once I found the video literally it took my husband and I had less than 15 minutes just set it up. I did have one question and he chatted with me back right away like immediately.

I’m OBSESSED!!! I used it in my toddlers room who likes complete blackout, and it was perfect!! Not a sliver of light. Looks great, easy to install and completely black out!

I've never seen my bedroom be this dark. On that front, it's a complete success. However, I'm docking a single star for two reasons: First, it seems there was a mistake in my order and the blind was designed to close from right to left instead of left to right like I asked. It's no big deal since I only need to flip the frame (it does mean that the light out logo is upside down, which is pretty annoying). However, another issue is that it looks like I'm reaching the size limit for how this type of design can work well. What I mean by that is that I have a larger patio door, and I can't close the blind properly without manually unfolding the fabric by pushing on it while pulling on the handle, meaning that I'm leaving ugly push marks on the fabric every time I close the blinds. It's not a deal breaker for me, since the most important part is that it works. But given the price, I think buyers should be warned about this issue.

Perfect. Tried other types of blinds, they did ok but without the frame a lot of light leaks through. We would use things like taping up other materials to block this light, looks like a mess and you could not open the window. This installed in a few minutes. I priovided measurements down to 1/16". The blinds fit sluggly into the window frame, no screws were needed, the fit was as close as you would want. Installed during the day with a south facing window (facing the sun). Once they were installed it was like the video, as soon as you close them it was pitch black. They open up nicely so we can actually open the window for light and fresh air as needed now. Would buy again if needed.

These blinds changed my life! I’m so happy i found these blinds, they sit perfectly flush with my walls, allowing me to still have plants on my window sill. They look amazing, do a great job and was so easy to install. I had questions during installation and Charlie got back to me right away and personally took care of an issue I had. I am very impressed with the level of customer service — you don’t see this often these days. Highly recommend to anybody.

Got these for our 6 month olds room and she finally sleeps past 5am. The frame seal really does block all the light. Took me less than 15 minutes to install and I have zero handy skills. So happy we found Lights Out.

They take a couple weeks to arrive because everything is custom made for your window but its worth it. They fit perfectly and go right to the edge so they block out a ton of light.

I had a small bit of light leak from one side after my first install. Reached out to the team and they walked me through how to adjust the black felt strip. Fixed it in 5 minutes. Now its perfectly dark. The support team is super helpful.

Got stuck on one step during install and reached out to support. They responded within minutes and got me sorted. Cant ask for more.

I messed up my first measurement and had to email support. They were super nice about it and remade it for free which was great. Once they got here install was easy and the blinds are awesome.

Honestly didnt expect this much of a difference. Bedroom is completely dark now and im sleeping deeper than I have in a long time. Wish I found this sooner.

Look great in the room. Way more modern than I expected. They feel really solid when you pull them up and down.

Sun used to wake me up in the spring and summer before my alarm every day. Bedroom is dark now and we sleep until we want to. The best!

My window is old and has a weird crank and I was worried about fit. Had to do a couple back and forths with support to figure out the right setup. They were patient through all of it. The fit ended up perfect and the room is darker than ever. Very happy with them.

The written instructions were a little hard to follow at first but once I watched the video everything clicked. Took me maybe 20 mins total. Final product is great, room is super dark, no complaints now.

Only regret is not buying these sooner. Should have done this when we first moved in. The room actually gets so much darker.
